Best Man
Whitney and I met in Elementary school at Allen W. Roberts. We hung out at his place playing Lode Runner on the PC. He's one of my best friends and one of only a handful of classmates I've managed to stay in regular contact with since graduating high school.
Matron of Honor
Therese and I grew up in the same church. Since she is younger than me, I thought of her as a little sister or cousin. We really became close sometime when I was in high school going into college, and have remained close ever since. It doesn't matter that's she's almost halfway around the world in Hawaii, Therese is always there when you need a listening ear, and I try my best to reciprocate! She's a true blue, ride or die kind of friend.
Groomsman
Russ is my older brother, he lives outside of Boston with his wife Sara and two children, Teddy and Ellie. Russ and I both worked at Sabattis Adventure Camp in the Adirondacks, although not the same years.
Bridesmaid
We met senior year of high school and remain friends well after going to college together. She's a fellow nerd as well as a plant guru and is trying to teach me her ways... with vary degrees of success.
Groomsman
Andy is my younger brother and we worked together in the summers at the New Providence Community Pool. He originally life guarded before moving over to maintenance. Andy now lives in Florida with his wife Nickie and daughters Abby and Isabelle.
Bridesmaid
Mel and I met in Denmark when we both served as volunteers at their Adventist boarding school. Our terms of service only overlapped by around 4 months, but our mutual love of travel, books, and all things Austen solidified our friendship, despite living on opposite sides of the world.
Groomsman
Doug is my youngest brother. We also worked together at the New Providence Community Pool in the summers during college. Doug also worked at Sabattis Adventure Camp, although not the same years as Russ or me. Doug still lives in our hometown of New Providence.
Bridesmaid
Marjolynne and I have been friends since she was born (her being the younger between us). Not only did we grow up in the same church, we also attended the same boarding high school. My junior year (her freshman year) we were roommates and practically inseparable. We both were always heavily involved in music--she the pianist, me the singer. She's one of those friends with whom I can meet up after a couple of years and pick up right where we left off.
