We met in Hamilton Middle School. Jerrell saw the new girl(Ronecia) walking by in the hallway during the change of classes. He thought it was crazy how he only had Gym or Lunch Time to get to speak a word to the new girl(Ronecia). Turns out she had made close friends with one of Jerrell's closest friends and when they went home that day, all his friend could talk about was the new girl(Ronecia). Later that week, Jerrell noticed the new girl(Ronecia) not getting a ride home that day but she and her sister were walking up ahead, in the same direction he was, he just knew he was going to get his chance. As soon as Jerrell caught up to the new girl(Ronecia), his friend came walking up beside them catching everyone's attention and didn't even notice Jerrell initially. He saw how his friend was catching eyes for the new girl so he decided to fallback from trying to get his chance at her. As the school year went on his friend and Ronecia got closer and closer, that meant he also got the chance to get closer to her because they would all walk and catch the bus together, hangout over each other houses and etc. The day his friend came to him and told him he had a girlfriend, Jerrell knew it was Ronecia and hearing that made him back almost all the way off. So much so, that he barely hung out with the couple as much. As the school year went by, Jerrell found his self more and more attracted to Ronecia as everytime he and his friend would be around he would brag about her often.
