I've known Ronda since Kindergarten. We have been the best of friends ever since. We grew up having sleep overs at each other's house and talking on the phone all night. I met Preston through Ronda after they started dating one another. He's been a cool guy ever since I met him.

I met Ronda at band camp our freshman year at UWA. Since 2011, we became study partners to obtain 3 degrees in nursing, great friends, and celebrating each other through major milestones in our young adulthood. I also met Preston at band camp in 2014 in UWA. Let me tell it, I am the one that introduced the two and they've been inseparable since.

I met Ronda in 2012, my first semester at The University of West Alabama. We were at the end of the semester and were studying with a group of mutual friends at "Late Night Cafe". We didn't know each other but it was definitely a vibe. That next semester, we became even closer when we shared the same work study job until we graduated and the rest is history.

I met Ronda at DCH in 2018. She was my nurse preceptor and is one of the main nurses who helped shape me into the nurse I am today. Forever thankful for the knowledge she passed on to me and the friendship we established.

I met Preston my freshman year at UWA. We were both mutual friends of Jon. We bonded over music and plenty of jokes cause he's a character. The rest is history. He accepted me as his sister and treats me like one. I met Ronda through Preston. She's also accepted me as her sister. A true ride or die because she's been ready to go to war for me.

I would say that I probably met Preston at birth. Ronda came along at Preston's graduation but I feel like I knew her before that. I already knew so much about her and of course, she fits right in!

Relationship: Cousin of the Groom I have known Preston since we were in diapers. We grew up in church together. I know it says cousin, but we are more like brothers. He and his brothers, Pat and Pierre, would always come to York every chance they got and have sleepovers, play basketball and videogames. I think Preston was the only one that wasn’t scared of Dogs at the time…so “He says”. I think I am about the only one who can deal with “Red Hot” when he is mad. Preston would talk to me about Ronda a lot and how much he cared for her. After meeting her, I can say she is a great person. She is funny and I know she loves my brother. Congrats to you both, and glad to be a part of your big day!

Relationship: Best friend of the Groom I met Preston initially at UWA in the band. Unofficially, I met him in the music building at UWA. I was playing Alicia Keys song, If I Ain’t Got You on the piano in one of the practice rooms and he was playing right along with me in the practice room next door. I got to know him more once we both joined Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Preston has not only become my fraternity brother, but also one of my best friends and brother. Relationship: Brother of the Groom Preston is my oldest brother and “unofficial twin” (we are a year and week apart from each other). We are like night and day, but the love we have for each other is unmatched. Preston introduced me to Ronda or Ron as I like to call her at church. She was nice and very funny. I think she found me funny too as much as I picked with Preston. I think it’ll be cool to have another sister in the family. Congrats to you both.

Relationship: Brother of the Groom Preston is my oldest brother. We both ended up going to UWA for college and he introduced me to a lot of his friends on campus. Like my other siblings, I have heard a lot about Ronda when he would come home from college and after we would get through playing ball. I finally got a chance to meet her when Preston brought Ronda to church. She is very nice. Happy to have another sister in the family and be a part of the big day.

Relationship: Best friend of the Groom I met Ronda before I met Preston, but I know them both because we all attended UWA and were in Band together. I met Preston unofficially when he played the saxophone at my late grandfather’s church. I would meet Preston when I rode with him home one weekend in his Uncle’s Ford Crown Victoria. He was asking about Ronda then. Me and Preston were roommates in college and grew to be best friends, more like brothers. When you get me, Jon, him, and DaSha together then there’s bound to be laughter. Preston talked about Ronda a lot and I know that she loves him. I happy for them both and honored to be a part of their special day.

Relationship: Cousin of the Groom I have known Preston since we were kids. We went to school together and was once in the same class. Whenever somebody would see me, they knew Preston wasn’t too far behind. We say that we are cousins, but he is more of a brother to me. I remember Preston showing me a picture of Ronda and told me he was going to try to talk to her. Preston introduced me to Ronda at church and we double dated a couple of times. She is very nice and funny. Preston was my best man in my wedding, and it is an honor to support my brother and his bride to be on their big day.
