What is the dress code?

Answer

This event is black-tie optional. Tuxedo or a dark colored suit and tie. Floor-length gown, cocktail dress, or pantsuit.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to restrictions at the venue, we can only accommodate children in the wedding party. All other guests must be at least 18 years old.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Unfortunately, we only have space for individuals listed on the formal invitation.

Do you have blocks of hotel rooms reserved?

Answer

We have room blocks at both The Herrington Inn & Spa in Geneva, IL and the Comfort Inn & Suites in Geneva, IL. All guests are responsible for booking their own rooms. Direct links and additional information can be found on the 'Lodging' tab.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

The Herrington Inn & Spa is located directly across Rte. 38 from Riverside Receptions. Guests can walk from this hotel to the wedding venue. The Comfort Inn & Suites is about an 8 minute drive from the wedding venue. There will be shuttles to the venue for guests prior to the wedding and shuttles back to the hotel available after the reception.

Is there parking nearby?

Answer

There are multiple public parking lots located along N River Lane and Hamilton Street. The entrance to Riverside Receptions is in the courtyard behind 25N Coworking Geneva. (See map above)

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our venue is ready to accept guests 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Please arrive no earlier than 3:30pm and no later than 3:50pm to allow for time to be seated.

Who can attend Friday's events?

Answer

Our Rehearsal Dinner is invitation only. We will practice for the big day and enjoy a private meal with close family. We would like to invite all out-of-town guests to stop by (LOCATION TBA) for a drink Friday evening.

Who can attend Sunday's events?

Answer

All wedding guests are welcome to join us for a farewell brunch the morning after. (LOCATION TBA)

Answer
