Our Forever Begins

Ron and Jaden met on the dancefloor in Las Vegas in March of 2018. Jaden was there with her sister, Kiana, and friends celebrating Kiana's 21st birthday, while Ron was there with his USC Pharmacy School friends. Jaden caught Ron's eye, and he was immediately intrigued by this beautiful young lady who possessed such a radiating vibe. He mustered up the courage to introduce himself and the two chatted briefly for a few minutes. Luckily enough, he scored her phone number before she had to take off! Already convinced that there was a connection and potential future together, Ron called Jaden later that night, where they agreed to go on a date back in LA. Five days later, Ron arrived at the Louies' home to take Jaden on their first date to Griffith Observatory. Ron made it official one month later (April 2018) and their relationship soon thereafter became a long-distance one as he graduated from USC and moved back home to New York. For 11+ months, there were many hand-written letters, late-night phone calls, and cross-country plane rides; Jaden and Ron's relationship deepened. With an intent to take the next step in the relationship, Ron decided to pack his bags and move to LA in July 2019. Ron's transition to LA was a smooth one due to the incredible amount of encouragement and love from Jaden and her family & friends, but most importantly from his growth in Christ. With a racing heart and sweaty palms, Ron's deep love for Jaden propelled him to ask Mr. and Mrs. Louie for their permission to take their daughter's hand in marriage in January 2020. Ron proposed to Jaden on August 14, 2020, at the place they had their first date - Griffith Observatory. After months of anticipation, they are so excited to share with you the next milestone of their love story.
