We always planned to have a small ceremony and a party later to celebrate with family and friends. Our lives are pretty hectic since we juggle four children and hectic work lives so we didn't have the time, patience or desire to plan anything big. We knew about two weeks before the actual wedding that we would get married on September 14, 11 months after we met. We texted some of our friends three hours before the event and asked them to come and have a drink at The Point, the place where we met, and said "by the way, we're getting married too!" We celebrated with 11 of our local friends and our dear friend, Kenyan McDuffie, officiated the ceremony. We are forever grateful. We hope you enjoy the video of our brief ceremony.
