Not many people will know but we met each other on Tinder, one swipe right changed our lives and we didn't even know it at the start. We started talking around Christmas 2019. The conversation was easy and flowed really well. Before we knew it we were going on our first date in Dublin. We had dinner and drinks and it didn't feel awkward at all, it even ended up being a two day first date! The second day we walked around Stephens Green Park and Ronan even got to see me scream at the tv over a Man Utd match. Our second date was down in wexford/wicklow a few weeks later. We both didn't want to say goodbye to each other. On the 24th of January 2020 Ronan asked me to be his girlfriend and after that we spent every minute of everyday we could with each other which has lead us to here..... - Laura
From early on in our relationship we talked about what we wanted in life, marriage, kids etc. We both knew early on that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with each other, we were lucky you could say to find each other. It quickly became apparent that we didn't like spending time apart. Our first break away came in the form of a staycation to Sligo for Laura's birthday. What started as just a few days away to celebrate Laura's birthday quickly evolved into a very special few days for both. What Laura and many others didnt realise was I had made the move and got an engagement ring and was waiting for the perfect moment to pop the question. It just so happened that the perfect opportunity presented itself in Sligo. While researching places to visit while in Sligo I found Glencar Lake and was instantly sold my the views so I decide THAT was where I was going to pop the question. As we were leaving Sligo on our final day , we stopped to " get some nice pictures with the lake" and the stage was set for me to pop the question. She said Yes!!! - Ronan
