Is there a dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

Yes!!!! The dress code is formal, black tie. We ask that men wear a tuxedo or a black suit and tie and women wear a black evening gown or midi or knee-length cocktail dress." No tank tops, tees, baseball caps, jeans, tennis shoes or sneakers. In respect to the bride, no all-white attire.

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be at the same location. No additional transportation is needed.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at 4:30pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm, so please get there early. Once the ceremony begins, late guests will be asked to wait until the ceremony is over so this special moment is not interrupted for the bride and groom.

Am I allowed to take pictures during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, guests will not be allowed to take photos/videos once the ceremony begins. We want you to be fully present with us on our special day! We have hired a wonderful team of photographers and videographers to capture those special moments. However, the reception is all yours! Make sure to use our hashtag #toastingtothornhills so we can keep track of all the memories!

Are kids welcome?

We are looking forward to having our guests relax and enjoy an evening of celebration—our wedding will be an adult-only occasion. We politely request no children at this event.

You know I'm coming! Do I have to RSVP?

Answer

Yes, RSVPs give an accurate guest count and allows you to input your dinner selection for the reception.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The RSVP deadline will be May 30, 2024. If your RSVP is not received by the deadline you will not be permitted admittance into the ceremony or reception.

Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please complete your RSVP online no later than May 30, 2024.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list and our wedding is RSVP only. If you were not afforded a plus one on your invitation then you cannot bring a date.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so we can plan accordingly. If you do not respond via RSVP then we will mark you as a "no" for attending.

There will be stations with a large variety to choose from.

Yes, there will be an open bar/cash bar

Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Please see the "Hotel Accommodations" tab for additional details. You will be responsible for making your own reservations with the hotels. You are not obligated to stay at any of the hotels on the suggested list.

Where are you registered?

Answer

In lieu of gifts we ask that you make a donation to our honeymoon fund. A wedding card box will be at our reception.
