Maid of Honor
Sabrina is the best friend I could possibly ask for. She came into my life when I really needed a friend, and got me through a tough time. If she and I hadn’t become friends, I would have never met Ronald, so I will always be grateful to her for everything she’s ever done. We’ve created some of my fondest memories since the day we became friends, and living with her, Ronald and Joey has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Together we are our own little quirky family, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. She is empathetic and a care taker by nature, and her incredible creativity and organization skills are so helpful to the planning process. I am lucky to have her and I couldn't imagine a better fit to be my number one, my Maid of Honor.
Best Man
Jesus, the amount of words I have for this guy just can't be counted. We met through a mutual friend that played the same card game we do. At first we didn't interact much, but when he made a reference to Tom and Jerry, the friendship took off like a rocket. My partner in crime when it comes to our acts of stupidity, it wouldn't take much to get us laughing like a couple of hyenas. From endless late night laughter through some pretty heavy stuff, this man has been one of my best friends for 6 years.
Bridesmaid
Alaina is my niece, but we grew up together like sisters. I've looked up to her, and I've looked after her, and I love her unconditionally. She is one of the absolute funniest people I've ever known. She's also a talented pastry chef, and will be designing and making the perfect cake for our wedding!
Groomsman
My oldest brother and where most of my humor comes from. Growing up watching all the same shows and movies he did and laughing at it all. Kevin was one of the people I looked up to when I was growing up, being calm and cool all the time and rarely getting angry. From taking me out golfing with our dad and uncles to going out and having a few beers he always makes sure I'm doing alright and get home okay. He also introduced me to a lot of great beers like Einstok and Heretic, and restaurants to go out to. I'm so happy that he can be with me up at the altar as one of my groomsmen and see his youngest brother grown and ready to start his own family.
Bridesmaid
Nicole is Ronald's younger sister, and she and I have grown very close! We quickly bonded over being Christmas fanatics and our love for baking. Shortly after I met the family, she and I got together and spent a day baking pies, cupcakes and cookies, and although it doesn't seem like much, it was one of the happiest days I can remember and I wish it was something we could do more often. Now, we've grown even closer and she's my go-to for advice on a ton of stuff, especially gift ideas for everyone because of how attentive and genuine she is.
Groomsman
My older brother in the family, Daniel can get a laugh out of anyone when he talks to you. One of my confidants when I felt like I couldn't talk to anyone else, he's helped me through so much in life. He can be serious when he needs to be, but loves to crack jokes and make people have a good time as much as he is. Growing up Daniel and Kevin would be the ones I would play so many video games and watch wrestling with, and get in so much trouble doing wrestling moves on our parent's bed. I'm so happy to have him stand beside me.
Bridesmaid
Lisa is my big sister, and sometimes a mother figure. She's been there my whole life, and understands part of me like nobody else could. We share some of the same weird personality quirks and sense of humor and she is there for me when I need her!
Best Man
The constant rock in my life for over 10 years, Joey has been apart of so much in my life that I can't imagine him not being up there with me. We first met while I was just starting in high school and quickly bonded over tv shows we watched and the card games we spent so much time playing. He's been there with me through everything in high school and college to the very worst times, he feels more like a brother than just a best friend. From being over at his house so much that I would sit at his table with his grandma and dad having dinner, staying up so late with him and Chris that we all make his dad angry with how loud we're laughing, there's no other person that I've met or ever will meet that could ever take his place in my life.
Bridesmaid
Rebecca is Ronald's older sister, and someone I admire so very much. Just like the rest of the family, she is funny, super sweet and is so wonderful to be around. She has made me feel welcome in this family since the very beginning, and it will be a such a gift to call her my sister-in-law.
Groomsman
The younger brother I never knew I wanted. First meeting Mike in college at Contra Costa, we didn't really hang out at first. But then our mutual friends hung out more and we got to know each other, we found out that we laughed at the same stupid things each other did. Playing Ultimate Werewolf with our college friends and hanging out whether getting some drinks or being at the mall, we'd always have something to talk and laugh about. I'm happy to have him with me as a groomsman and will always treasure his reactions whenever I ask "We're all friends, right?"
Mini Bridesmaid
Alyssa is Ronald's niece, but more importantly she's my little sidekick and is very close to my heart. She gravitated to me from the moment we met on Thanksgiving right after Ronald and I started dating, and we've been pretty inseparable since then. We both love to sing, and as often as we can, we go sing karaoke and always have the best time! She is a smart, funny, kind and sassy girl and she has given me a whole new perspective, and I'm so excited to have her by my side through it all!
