Where we first met and where our journey began. <3 Recommendations: NEW Angus Aloha burger, chickenjoy, burgersteak, spaghetti, palabok, peach mango pie... Pretty much everything on the menu haha. Also locations in Seattle and Tacoma!
The first place we went to on our first "date" Our usual order since 2015: Tater tots (half garlic parmesan, half sour cream and onion) Tukwila's new location now goes by the name "Undercover Fries"
One of our favorite Brazilian steakhouses for all-you-can-eat grilled meats whether we're looking to splurge a bit or celebrate a special occasion. Favorites: Picanha (prime part of top sirloin) and brazilian cheese bread! Also locations in Downtown Seattle and Bellevue
Favorite grab-n-go sushi reasonably priced per pound! We're not huge fans of raw sushi (yet!) but we definitely recommend any of their shrimp/corn/salmon inari (stuffed tofu skin pockets)! ...And anything with eel (Don's recommendation)
One of the best steaks we've ever had (also one of the priciest haha), but the experience was priceless! Upscale dining experience on the 31st floor with panoramic views of Downtown Bellevue where we celebrated our 6th anniversary!
Best authentic Japanese cuisine with private dining rooms! Extra bonus: Edible desserts that you can draw on (Coconut or Taro Bouncing Cat Pudding)! Celebrated our 9th anniversary here~ Note: Rona normally doesn't like raw salmon and ikura (salmon caviar), but she LOVED their Thick Cut Rare Salmon Katsu & Ikura Don Set. Also, Don loves their menu because most of the food items has his name in it.
One of our go-to Chinese all-you-can-eat buffets for their affordable prices, hibachi grill selection, and crepes! Similar to Feast Buffet in Renton, only much cheaper and a bit farther.
Our favorite udon spot! First tried Marugame dUdon in Hawaii before they opened their Tukwila location. Affordable and delicious fresh handcrafted Sanuki-style udon. Go-to order: Curry Nikutama with tempura add-ons (usually go for tamagoyaki, squid, shrimp, and zucchini)!
One of our first and favorite Taiwanese hot pot restaurants since 2015! Our go-to order: Milk Cream Curry (x2) with extra fried tofu skin Also located in Tukwila and Bellevue (and others!)
Favorite restaurant when craving tsukemen (dipping style of ramen)! Rona tried their Spicy Curry Tsukemen during our first visit and has gotten the same order ever since haha. Also locations in Seattle and Kirkland!
Favorite turo-turo style Filipino restaurant whenever we're craving homecooked foods but don't have the time and/or energy to cook. Favorite dish: Bicol Express (second to Don's), Adobo, Igado, Lechon Kawali, Sinigang (to be continued...)
#1 favorite KBBQ all-you-can-eat restaurant! (Always trying to resist coming here once a week. Don't invite us to join and eat here because we will most likely say yes haha). Go-to order: Combo C for $23.99 (unlimited beef brisket and pork belly with side dishes and soybean paste soup) - We usually get 2.5-3 rounds worth of food until we hit a food coma and can barely stand or walk.
Been obsessed over their Korean style Malatang and Mala XiangGuo since day one! Best comfort food to relieve stress ("Mala kills stress"), whether dine-in at the restaurant or take-out at home. Select your own ingredients, priced per pound based on soup selection. Recommendation: Rose Malatang or Rose Mala XiangGuo Also located in Shoreline!
LOL Super random and not at all unique, but we used to come here a lot in recent years when our work schedules wouldn't align as much. Although this is no longer an option during breakfast hours, we used to always drop by in the morning and order their Spicy Sizzling Skillet (one each) with white toast, so trips to Denny's are nostalgic to us hehe. Multiple locations (of course)!
