We met back in the Summer of 2018. I was still attending Temple University at the time and Ronnie was living back home in CT. I was looking forward to going back to Philadelphia for junior year but after moving into my apartment, realized that being apart was not going to be fun. Little did I know that Ronnie would end up booking a train ticket to Philly pretty much every other weekend just to come see me for a short visit. Those weekends together became a special tradition for us as I got to show him around my favorite city and all his visits earned him the title as the "4th roommate" in the apartment!

We were up at Mount Snow in Vermont, a yearly tradition since we started dating, for their Oktoberfest. Our routine was to play a round of golf at their course on Friday morning, Oktoberfest Saturday, and a stop at the Vermont Country Deli on the way home on Sunday. Through the years going up there, friends started joining us on our yearly excursion which just made it all that much better. Then for Oktoberfest 2023, all of our friends from near and far made the drive up to Vermont to be there for the proposal on top of the mountain. And even though it was gray, wet, and rainy outside, Ronnie still put his entire knee down on the ground!
