FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! Formal attire is encouraged. Think long dresses and suits. Linens, cottons, and silks will fare well in warm summer weather. We kindly request our guests to avoid the following colors: white, champagne, cream, and light yellow as these are the colors of our wedding party.

Question

What time is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is currently set to start at 4:00PM outdoors on the East Lawn followed by the indoor reception in the Hayes Ballroom.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please refer to the RSVP tab as indicated on your physical invitation.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family and are unfortunately unable to extend plus-ones to everyone. Please only bring guests listed on your invitation

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

To allow all guests to fully enjoy the celebration, attendance is limited to adults, with the exception of children in the wedding party and immediate family.

Question

Can I take pictures at the wedding?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony and kindly request for no photography or videography except for our hired team. However, at the reception and other points in the evening please feel free! Our hashtag is #ItsAbatTime ;)

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors on the Hayes Mansion East Lawn! Cocktail hour will be both indoors and outdoors on the terrace as well as foyer of the Hayes Ballroom. Reception will be indoors at the Hayes Ballroom.

Question

Can I bring a gift?

Answer

Your presence on our special day is truly the greatest gift we could ask for, and celebrating with us means the world. For those who have kindly asked, there will be a card box at the reception, and our Newlywed Fund can be found on our registry tab. Any generosity is sincerely appreciated and cherished.
