I (Ava) needed a caddy for a qualifier in May 2023, and Noah offered to be my caddy for that event. From that qualifier, golf became a major part of our relationship.

Long walks were something that we both enjoyed doing to get to know each other. The first significant long walk we took ended at the UNCG parking deck in early August 2023. Soon after that walk, we started dating on August 20th 2023. We still enjoy long walks even if that means we are in different states.

After we started dating, the next year and a half was filled with lots of golf. We shared many moments together and pushed each other to reach our competitive goals. Many chick-fil-a cookies were put on the line and most of them were won by Noah. I (Ava) is actively seeking my second win against Noah...

After I (Noah) graduated my 5th year at UNCG, I began my professional golf career while Ava was beginning her senior year at UNCG. It was about this time that we began to talk about marriage and what it could look like. After Ava completed her senior year, she began a 6 month certificate program in Greenville, SC.

I (Noah) proposed to Ava at Smith Mountain Lake on June 5th 2025. We are so excited to begin this new chapter together!!
