La Jolla Cove

La Jolla is such a beautiful part of San Diego. This is a great spot to go snorkeling or take a kayak tour. If you don't feel like getting into the ocean, make sure to at least visit the seals at the Children's Pool Beach!

San Diego Zoo

Seaport Village

If you want to spend the afternoon watching ships float in and out of the harbor while sipping coffee, shopping, or just going on a nice walk this is the place to visit. Located on the waterfront not far from the USS Midway Museum.

Tiki Time Bay Tours

We have never been on the Tiki Time Bay Tours, but it has amazing reviews and looks like a lot of fun!

Brigantine Restaurant

Great happy hour and views looking over the ocean and racetrack! Brian loves the calamari, but Chelsea's all time favorite is the fish taco! They have a few other locations, including on Coronado Island and near Downtown San Diego.

Board & Brew - Del Mar

Board and Brew has the best sandwiches and multiple locations! If you go to the Del Mar location, pick up some sandwiches and head over to Powerhouse Park just a few blocks away. Growing up we use to have our birthday parties at Powerhouse Park :)

San Diego is famous for having an abundance of microbreweries and wineries. Brian’s favorite is Treevana IPA from Burgeon Beer Company!
