While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our celebration adults-only.
Both the ceremony and reception will be at the Pavilion on Crystal Lake. The outdoor ceremony space is a short walk away from the reception hall.
The recommended attire is formal. This is a summer wedding so it will be hot! Please wear something you will be comfortable in.
Great question! We recommend that guests aim to arrive at 430pm. If you are driving to the venue, anticipate rush hour traffic. The ceremony will start at 5pm sharp. Please leave yourself ample time to find your seat and settle in.
Middletown is approximately a 30-35 minute drive from Bradley International airport. While you can certainly get an Uber or Lift to and from Middletown and to the Welcome Drinks Venue in Glastonbury, CT, having a rental does help. It is not necessary but is recommended. You can also connect with other guests and carpool. Please note that there will be a shuttle from the Cromwell Marriott and the Middletown Inn to the venue on the day of the wedding (see below).
We will have a shuttle available to pick up guests from the Cromwell Marriot and the Inn at Middletown. Unfortunately, services will not be provided from the Wallingford Marriot location. The shuttle will be picking up guests from the Cromwell Marriot at 3:55pm and guests from the Inn at Middletown at 4:15pm to arrive at the venue at 4:30pm. There will also be a return shuttle that will take guests back to their hotel after the reception. This shuttle will leave at 11:15pm. Please arrange for other means of transportation if you plan to leave earlier than this time.
Yes! There is a large parking lot with ample parking spaces adjacent to the reception hall. No permit or special instructions needed.
