The wedding is going on as scheduled. Our anticipated guest list complies with the current CDC recommendations for Pennsylvania and this venue. We will continue to monitor the situation and update as necessary, but we are optimistic! Also, we ask that if you are feeling unwell the day of the wedding, please stay home.
No, you do not have to stay at the hotel we've booked a block at! You are welcome to stay wherever you please. Just keep in mind the shuttle to and from the wedding venue will only be stopping at the Sonesta Philadelphia Downtown Rittenhouse Square.
Yes, there is a parking lot on site at Bridgemen's Ballroom.
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means that we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent or turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we've hired professionals to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! We promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them.
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a semi-formal dress code for our evening.
We addressed the RSVP cards to the people we would love to come. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP on our website. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.
You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly.
We are asking that if you post photos from the wedding, you use the hashtag #themoyerthemerrier so that we can see the evening through your eyes the next day! As soon as we are able, we will be posting a link on our website under the "photos" tab that takes you directly to our photographers' photo gallery, so all guests will have access to them.
