Straight from the WBZ Newsroom Mark and Nicole met on the night in 2015 when Mayor Marino was elected for the last time. They first hung out at the at the Silhouette bar in Brighton, where they cheered on their friends playing darts in 2017. They both remained friends until October 2020 when they finally started dating. From there, their adventure truly began with camping, hiking, biking. In June of 2025, after a long day of bike riding in Acadia national park, Mark took Nicole to the Bass Harbor light house and asked him to marry her. She of course said yes! Which has lead us to the current events.
