Sometimes love can be a marching band, triumphantly announcing its arrival. Sometimes it can be a gentle violin. That violin may play just a few delicate notes that melt away into the background as you sit atop Garret Mountain with someone you just met. And as you steal a glance, not understanding the weight of this moment, you have no idea if they hear this violin too. How could you possibly know that this is where it will all begin? The laughs, the childhood stories that you'll share, the sound of the thoughts you never imagined telling anyone.. they'll continue to build this soundtrack one note at a time. And you're not sure what to make of it, but it comes naturally—it feels easy. You start hearing the music even when you're not together and it paints your days with more vibrant colors, more hope in what could be. The music continues to grow louder, it follows you everywhere and your friends and family begin to notice how different you seem. Unsure of why you've held back, pretending to not hear the music, you decide to tell each other for the first time—as scary as it is—that you hear the music too. Now.. now you can begin working on it together. In our own ways, we were both searching for the same things. To be appreciated. To be loved. To be understood. To be challenged. Through some luck and, more importantly, effort, we've found all of those things and more in each other. We've built our love note by note, brick by brick, and we're excited to have you help us celebrate it because we're proud of what we've created.
