Are Kids Welcome?

Unfortunately we have limited space at the ceremony and reception locations, so both of these events are adults only. However, kids are welcome at the other events. If you are bringing your kids to any of these other events, please reach out and let us know so we can plan accordingly.

Can I bring a date?

Unfortunately, we have limited space at several of our venues and could not give everyone a plus one. Please see your RSVP form for specifics or reach out to us if you have a question.

Do I need a car?

Answer

Downtown South Lake Tahoe is walkable and there is a free shuttle (Lake Link: http://ss-tma.org/lake-link/). We will provide and/or coordinate transportation to our events. However, accessing many parts of the Lake does require a car. Note that parking can be crowded in many areas.

What's the elevation of Lake Tahoe?

Answer

Lake Tahoe is over 6,000 ft above sea level. You will feel the altitude during hikes, so we recommend taking hikes at a slower pace than normal and drinking lots of water. The sun is also much stronger at this elevation, so we recommend wearing (and reapplying) sunscreen!

What is the weather like?

Answer

Typically, the weather is beautiful - sunny and 70s! The wedding will be in Summer, so the weather should be pretty reliable. It likely won't rain, but if it does, mid-afternoon storms are most common.
