It was August 2015 at West Chester University and love was in the air. We met in good old Recitation Hall in freshman WRT120 (see pic below). Nick was one of three boys in the class. He barely spoke three words the entire semester. I was the teacher’s pet whose hand was permanently in the air, ready to share all of my opinions. Though we never spoke a word to each other during that semester, we both caught one another’s eye. You know what they say- opposites attract! The following year, as sophomores, our mutual friends (shout out to Casey and Evan) re-introduced us during a party. We became great friends throughout sophomore year and both admitted that we had feelings for one another, but we could never get the timing right (it’s giving Jim and Pam from the Office). I transferred schools and we fell out of touch. Then, in 2019, after graduating and starting our careers, we bumped in to each other at a bar in Conshohocken and quickly started dating, just in time for a world-wide pandemic. Our lives have changed a lot since 2015, but friendship will always remain at the center of our relationship. We can’t wait to celebrate our love with the most special people in our lives!
