Yosemite National Park
If you’re here for a few extra days, stop by Yosemite National Park. It’s only about 2 hour drive to get to Yosemite Valley. See El Capitan, Yosemite Falls, and Half Dome. Spring time in Yosemite is beautiful and green. Take a dip in the fresh snow melted rivers, it’s a Sanchez tradition!
Old Town Clovis
Check out Old Town Clovis! The Rodeo will be just finishing up at the end of April. Bring your boots or flip flops, it can go either way here. Hit the Farmers market or shop for antiques in historic Clovis.
Old Town Saloon
A country club worth checking out, even Justin Bieber stopped by. Old Town Saloon is a must do in Clovis. Cheap drinks and good music, followed by a strip of other fun bars down the street.
Shaver Lake
An easy 1 hour drive to Shaver Lake makes for a refreshing getaway. Breathe in some fresh pine and sit by the lake. The cold spring water makes for a great day of trout fishing!
Monterey
Make a weekend trip to Monterey Bay! A scenic two and half hour drive makes for romantic trip, and some notable wine tasting. Get some beach therapy while you’re here.
