We are getting married!

We met when I was taking the local city bus. The driver was incapacitated and I had to take over driving. The bus had to continue at speeds of greater than 50 mph or else it would be destroyed. John stayed by my side as we maintained the bus’ safety. Or... We met through an angel named Michelle. Michelle and I (Alyssa) were former co-workers and is John’s sister in law. She invited me to a soccer game to hang out last summer. Everyone but me knew it was a set up (thank goodness because then I would have been extra awkward). Apparently the game went well because now we are getting married.

Thursday June 13, I (Alyssa), asked John what we were doing that weekend. He said he had a date planned for Friday (suspicious). That Friday (June 14) we went to dinner, and headed out to the beach with the telescope to look at the moon. When we got there John had a blanket, my favorite popcorn, a speaker and wine (extremely suspicious). We watched the sun go down and listened to music.. John got really serious (the most suspicious). He said the most beautiful things, then he asked me to marry him. I wanted to respond sarcastically, instead I cried really hard and obviously said yes. Then kept crying which was really embarassing. It was one of the best moments of my whole life (even with my awkward sobbing). We are so excited to celebrate with you!
