FAQs

These are some of the most asked questions prior to the wedding. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to the bride, groom, or their direct family!
Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will promptly begin at 4:00 p.m. so we kindly request that you arrive 30 minutes early to ensure you don't miss anything! This will also allow you time to park and sign our guest book! If you arrive once the ceremony has begun, you will not be able to be seated and will have to join at cocktail hour at the reception venue.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see all of our favorite people get dressed up! Dress code is formal. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi formal dresses. Gentleman can wear a suit & tie. We request no jeans please! Colors and whimsical attire is encouraged! The colors of the wedding will be tangerine, baby yellow, green, wisteria, mulberry, baby rose, and dusty blue.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

For the ceremony, please park in the church parking lot. If the parking lot is full, feel free to park in the neighborhood nearby (except on Lovers Lane). For the reception, there is plenty of parking in front of the venue! Disability accessible parking is in the paved lot at closest to the building.

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP as soon as possible. The deadline for RSVP's is October 14th. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make an exception and will have to mark you as 'no'. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we decided to keep our wedding ceremony and reception an adult only event. We encourage you to use this as a date night!

Question

Is this an Eastern or Western wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will be a Western wedding with elements of the brides Eastern heritage. For attire, we expect most guests to dress for a formal Western wedding, but if you feel more comfortable in a saree, please wear one!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony (no phones or cameras) at the church. We would love to see everyone's faces and be fully present in this special moment. We have hired professional photo and video to capture this moment and will share it with everyone once we receive it! After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like. There will be a QR code where you can share photos you have taken throughout the reception! We will also have a photo booth at the reception.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have drinks starting at cocktail hour and beer, wine, seltzers, and signature cocktails for you to enjoy. We want you to have the best time, so drinks are on us but the hangover is on you!
