Long Island Rail Road

If you are traveling from New York City you can take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) from Penn Station to Montauk. The ride is about 3 hours and 15 minutes.

Flight Options

If you are flying in there are three different airports located on Long Island. John F. Kennedy (JFK), LaGuardia (LGA) and MacArthur Airport. JFK and LGA are located about 2 hours and 15 minutes without traffic. MacArthur is a smaller airport located about 1 hour and 15 minutes away from Montauk.

The Hampton Jitney is a bus that leaves from NYC, get off at the Montauk stop.
