Garage is our home bar (basically our Cheers). Passyunk is the street its located on. It's claim to fame is hundreds of craft beers in cans, and they also have selections on tap and cocktails. We didn't exactly meet here, but are both long time regulars and there's very little chance we haven't met here because we officially met, if we're being honest. The bar itself tends to be casual vibes, but we want to kick that up a notch. We have all 3 portions of our wedding planned for the bar, they're only split up for the sake of RSVPs. We just love the idea of going to our regular hang where we meet up with friends, but this time dressed to the nines and with all our loved ones celebrating our nuptuals! There other two other locations that are very different and if you go to those you will definitely miss the wedding! Make sure you're going to 1231 E Passyunk Ave!
Don't worry! Garage has a wide range of NA options and they can always make you a delicious mocktail. We will definitely have a mocktail featured in our signature drinks!
We're nailing down specifics right now, but rest assured we are keeping dietary restrictions in mind! There will be options (with labels!) for gluten-free/celiac friendly, vegan/dairy free, and meat eaters alike.
Ah, true. The truth is, we have a ton of stuff already and we have lived together for nearly 4 years. We would love to update the house--make it more ours, more inviting. We also have not been able to travel together much, and sometimes have to sacrifice date nights as two gig workers in an unpredictable economy. So truly, we just want to continue building this amazing little life we've started that is less focused on stuff and geared toward the things we value most.
