We worked in the same hospital for years, only really seeing each other in passing. It wasn’t until 2021 that we really got to know each other. A reply to a random post on social media set it all into motion. Suddenly, we were talking all day into the early hours of the morning. The first time we saw each other outside of work was on Valentine’s Day 2021 when we decided to meet in the In n Out parking lot. We sat in the car and again just talked for hours. About a week later we went on our first date to a drive in movie and saw Wonder Woman 84. We had a great time and genuinely enjoyed each others company however, commitment wasn’t an option for us at that time in our lives. Even so, we continued our friendship and occasional conversations. A few months later, Rolando sent a message asking me to go see Fast and Furious 9 with him. I agreed and we had so much fun together. We laughed all night and the conversation flowed effortlessly. After that night we talked all day every day. On October 30, 2021, while overlooking the picturesque vineyards at a winery in Napa, Rolando asked me to be his girlfriend. I happily accepted and that’s how it all began.

Although we are already married, this is the time we'd like to spend celebrating with our close friends and family. We decided to officially tie the knot on July 31, 2023 at the Martinez courthouse. It was very intimate, with only our parents and daughter in attendance. We wanted to dedicate that time to them. Now we can't wait to celebrate with the rest of the people in our lives who we love and cherish so much.
