It all started at a little restaurant called Elkmont Tap&Cellar in Clemson, South Carolina. It was October 16, 2020, Rola had recently moved to the States from Lebanon to get her Masters degree and was trying to find someone to create a new life with. Brandon was sitting by the bar looking forward to meeting the young lady he's been enjoying texting for few weeks. They bonded over a Pernicious IPA and a hummus dip, they quickly realized they had a lot in common; from their love of traveling to their passion for food. Over the next few weeks, they met up multiple times to spend time together and teased each other, Brandon was surprised by Rola's accent that was not from New York as she had stated, and Rola was disappointed by Brandon's not so good chopsticks skills. Fast forward to today, they still remember that first Pernicious IPA that turned into something extraordinary—an unexpected friendship that blossomed into love. From that moment, they both knew they had found something special in each other. Rola and Brandon have been inseparable ever since, Rola moved to Greenville to be closer to Brandon, then they both moved to Charlotte for Rola's job, they bought their first house in Belmont and relocated to Mexico for three months for Brandon's job. They traveled together around the world, and loved each other on each continent they visited. Today, they are excited to be sharing with you this special moment in their relationship as you witness their love turn into a long life commitment!
