Our wedding is being held on the grounds of the beautiful summer camp Benjamin went to as a child and later worked at as a counselor. This comes with the benefit of having 22 cabins and other lodging options if you would like. These cabins are within walking distance of both the chapel and reception venue. You can drive directly up to the cabin to unload and park your vehicle in front of your cabin for the duration of your stay. They can be booked for both Friday, September 26th and Saturday, September 27th. You must be out of the cabin by 11am on Sunday, September 28th. The cabins are rustic. Single size bunk beds, bring your own sheets, bathroom is close-by, no heat or A/C (but has electrical outlets and already have a fan installed). Imagine going to a cabin at a State Park, this is very similar. They cost $25 a night per person and can sleep up to 10 (5 if you all want bottom bunks). These cabins, while being a great cheap option for guests, will keep you on the property throughout the wedding as well as give you the full camp experience! Names are collected on a spreadsheet with your cabin numbers to be prepared before your arrival. Cabin rentals must be made by Friday, September 19th so the camp has time to clean and prepare space. Payment will be collected by the camp Director, Tim Green, on the morning of the Wedding, September 27th. CASH ONLY, no checks or credit cards. Although about a 45 minute drive from the venue, the Sheraton Erie is a fantastic option to stay at a hotel with a view of Presque Isle. The hotel houses the Two45 Waterfront Grille which has fantastic Bread Pudding, which is a favorite of the bride and groom. Spend the rest of the weekend exploring Presque Isle and all Erie has to offer.
