Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

There are no rooms blocks, so we highly suggest booking your rooms ASAP, there is only a deposit required until 65 days before the wedding.

What type of food will be served at the wedding ?

We will be serving hors d’oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a seated dinner with meat and vegetarian options.

Will there be open bar?

Absolutely! There will be open bar throughout the cocktail hour as well as the full reception

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the simple Indian ceremony feel free to dress up in traditional indian wedding attire or formal wear is also appropriate, it will be a day wedding at 1pm and temperatures may be a bit warmer! For the traditional ceremony it will be formal wedding attire!

Where should we bring/ send our wedding gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home or visit the registry tab.

Is the Resort All Inclusive?

Answer

Yes! The resort is all-inclusive. Once you've paid for your rooms, everything you eat and drink, including premium alcohol, is included!! This includes room service too! There is a small $4 tax to use the kayaks and $11 for snorkeling tax if using that equipment.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel from the airport?

Answer

Yes, you can select the "Shared shuttle" when booking on the destify website. This will be coordinated to group wedding guests together as best they can! Someone will be coordinating all of the transfers based on your flight information you provide as the date gets closer. Taxis and shuttles are easily found as you exit the airport in Cancun, however the prices may be very high. If you chose this option, we found best rates when we walked all the way out to the street before selecting a private taxi service. They do offer round trips at that time as well.

Should I get the Preferred club at Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa?

From our understanding Preferred club only allows access to an adults only pool/bar and one restaurant for breakfast. Everything else is all included in their base room rates so it is definitely not needed to upgrade to their preferred club.

Hotel Tips

Answer

-There are no elevators where the rooms are, so if you have difficulty with stairs please request a first floor room. The rest of the resort is handicap accessible. -The restaurants tend to fill up quickly for dinner so we recommend going to dinner earlier or planning to send someone to put your name in as we did see waits up to 1 hour for dinner and they do not take reservations -If you want to eat at the teppanyaki (hibachi) table one of the nights, you can make a reservation for that with the concierge or on the Hyatt Inclusive app. Reservations fill up quickly so we recommend doing that as soon as you arrive.
