Noel's been friends with Rohit since high school, from struggling through honors english to doing nothing in Physics, Noel and Rohit had already been close friends when they decided to go to college together. They remained close throughout college and after, even when Rohit lived in India and Atlanta for a few years. Noel is someone Rohit can count on to always be there, for deep talks to retelling the same stories from high school and college.
Deborah D'Souza

Monisha and Deborah's friendship goes back to 7th grade where they were deskmates. From there the friendship grew deeper with mutual admiration for anime and reading fanfiction. To talking non stop during class and making teachers cry to getting lost together and giving bus conductors an amazing laugh with their atrocious hindi their friendship has seen a lot and strengthened over time. No matter the distance they have stayed in touch all this while and Debbie is the only one who Monisha can count on to jump into any random crazy idea that she has and pull her out and support her during tough times.

Rohit and Lester have been close friends since high school where they had most of their classes together and bonded over living only a few hundred feet from each other. In their senior year Rohit and Lester along with Noel and some other friends would spend most afternoons after school playing Super Smash Brothers at Lesters house hanging out. Lester and Rohit went to different colleges but have stayed close, going on several trips w/ their band mates Ramon and Noel.

This lassie is the youngest amongst Moni’s cousin sisters. Grace and Moni have had their fair share of sneaking off with their granny’s prized mangoes. Pani Puri is their favorite dish and they have pledged their allegiance in opening a chat store later in their lives ( They intend to be their own biggest customer)

Justin and Rohit met in high school due to having many classes together and observing how most of their teachers hated Noel. Rohit and Justin went to different colleges but have stayed close, Justin coming out to Atlanta to visit Rohit for the few months he was there. Rohit and Justin share an interest in technology and Justin is one of the few friends in Rohit's life with whom he can talk about his work.
Amiya Sabu

Amiya is Rohit's father's younger brother's elder daughter and one of his closest cousins. Amiya is close in age to Rohit's sister Nithu and whenever they would visit India during the summers growing up, Amiya would take Rohit and Nithu around and be their unofficial caretaker while in India. Amiya is currently working as an software engineer in Kochi.
Jeevan Abraham

Jeevan is Moni’s brother in law and her squabbling partner. Has more in common with Rohit, both are mechanical engineers, voracious readers and has similar taste in music and food. Their shared love for the brand ‘uniqlo’ has surprised both the sisters. In future they shall truly have pages of notes to share on dealing with the quirks of the Jacob sisters
Anina Sabu

Anina is Rohit's fathers brothers younger daughter and the youngest of all Rohit's cousins. Anina has a sharp wit and began entertaining the entire family at an early age with her quick observations and insight. Anina is still in school, planning on graduating soon.
Suraj Nair

Suraj is Moni’s childhood playmate and co-chief tormentor. An architect by profession and hotelier by passion, Suraj is a man who don’s many caps with a charming flair! Having interacted with Rohit, there is no doubt what was the main topic of discussion that brought them two together. Hint: It involves pots, pans, spices and sauces 😉
Arya Jacob

This pretty Dr. to be has seen the bride at her best and her worst. Arya and Moni had a wild incident when Arya was just a kid and Moni ( Just 6 yrs old) had her first question on mortality answered through Arya. Closer in behavior and characteristics than anyone in the family. These two can fight and makeup faster than the blink of an eye.
