Can we bring children?

Answer

Unfortunately, while Peter and I love all of your children very much, due to space restrictions with the venue we will not be able to accommodate children at the wedding (with the exception of our flower girl and ring bearer). Our hope is that you are able to enjoy a date night free of children which all you parents deserve!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to venue capacity limitations, we are only able to accommodate those names that are listed on the invitation. If you have an “& family on your invitation”, those are reserved for your immediate family members. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the us and we would be happy to clarify!

Will there be transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! As the ceremony and reception are both taking place at Mountain Ridge Country Club, there will be a shuttle from the Sheraton Hotel to Mountain Ridge to the ceremony and back from the reception at the end of the evening. Please check the itinerary card in your hotel bag at check in for more specific details.

Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our big day is Black Tie Optional.

Are there any events before and after the wedding for guests?

Answer

Yes! We will be having welcome drinks at the Sheraton hotel bar at 8:45 pm the night before the wedding (Friday November 4) for those who are checking in or coming into town on Friday! The morning after the wedding, there will be a brunch (Sunday November 6) at Tom and Kathy Rohan’s residence in Mountain Lakes that we would love to have you at even if you are just stopping by! If you are interested, reach out to us and we will provide the address!

Will the event take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The event will take place inside the main clubhouse. There will also be a heated outdoor tent and there is an additional patio outside, but the ceremony and the majority of the reception will take place in the main clubhouse and under a heated outdoor tent.

Will there be time in between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

No! Come ready to party! We will be rolling right into the party as all events will be on site starting at 5:00pm
