We met on move in day our freshman year of college. Will being the procrastinator we all know and love waited until the last orientation date. Which meant he moved in a day earlier than the rest of his dorm… which happened to be the day Kelly’s dorm moved in. Through a mutual friend we met that first night and spent the rest of our first year of college together!

Our sophomore year of college, Will decided that University of Hartford was not the right fit for him. After a golf spring break trip to Myrtle beach, Will decided he wanted to pursue the PGM program at Coastal Carolina University. Kelly was stuck at University of Hartford due to her 7 year Physical Therapy Program. So, the long distance began. We can definitely say it was not easy, but it did teach us a lot about ourselves, tested our relationship and built a foundation we know will last a lifetime.

We were on a trip to the Pocono’s in Pennsylvania with a group of our friends. Will got together with the guys and planned a trip to Bushkill falls for us our second day there. They had miles of waterfalls and hiking paths. After passing many waterfalls, Will picked one with a beautiful deck and proposed. This waterfall just happened to be named Bridal vail falls!

By year 5, people began asking if we were planning to get married. Will’s classic response was “yeah, in 10 years”. Little did he know, we would finally be settled down in CT and ready to bring that statement to reality just a couple months before our 10th anniversary.
