Pelee Island is in the middle of Lake Erie. It is the southernmost point in Canada.
YES. Because of the timing of our wedding and the ferry schedule, it won't be possible to attend and still make the last ferry leaving the island.
Please see "Travel & Accommodation" above.
YES. The ferries are quite large and built to carry passenger vehicles. We recommend bringing your car so you can get around the island easily.
Cape Cod meets Prince Edward County. For more info, please visit pelee.org
The island is about 10,000 acres. You can drive the entire perimeter in about an hour.
For the ceremony and reception on Saturday, we will be providing free transportation to and from the venue at regular intervals. However, if you have a strict schedule to keep, please consider arranging your own transportation.
You can stay ANYWHERE on the island! No matter where you stay, you will still be within a 15 minute drive to all wedding events.
Some accommodations offer Wi-Fi, but many do not. Cell service can be spotty. Because the island is on an international boundary, your Canadian phone may start roaming if it picks up a US tower (or vice versa). Take this as your sign to disconnect for the weekend!
Unfortunately, the venues for our events are not child-friendly (i.e, they are actively dangerous for children). You are of course welcome to bring your children to the island, but the wedding events are adults-only.
If you don't know, we can't help you. And maybe no one can.
Stay home.
