We're getting married!

We met through Leilani's (Maid of Honor) Sweet 16 Debut in 2012 when we were both part of her court. We officially met for the first time while we were out having a photoshoot for the party. In the days leading up to the party, we added each other on Snapchat and continued to talk and get to know each other. After the festivities of the party, the court was winding down in the hotel and we were just having a good time making popsicle stick grenades and throwing them around. Who knew that those popsicle stick grenades would explode into a potential relationship? The past 10 years of dating has been full of laughs, boba, endless miles of travel to visit each other, countless Disney trips and Giants games, and we can't wait to see what married life will bring us!

Nathan decided to ask Rianna to marry him at a San Francisco Giants game, since it was where he officially asked her to be his girlfriend. To keep the proposal a surprise, Nathan had Boboy (Rianna’s brother) suggest we go to a game when his girlfriend was in town for a visit. During this time of the year, Rianna was busy preparing for Lokahi’s annual show and her practice schedule interfered with Nathan’s proposal plans. After a lot of convincing, Rianna decided to skip practice to get to the game early and Nathan was relieved that his plan would still work. Rianna drove to the ballpark and was playing nothing but love songs on the radio, which made Nathan worry that she knew what he had planned! Once we parked, Rianna was on a mission and was walking as fast as possible to get to the gate to get the bobblehead giveaway. Nathan had to pull Rianna aside to the proposal spot where Miles (Best man) and Crystal (Nathan’s cousin) had set up flowers and a card. Nathan started his speech (he does not remember anything he said) and got down on one knee to pop the question. After Rianna nodded “yes”, we got our bobbleheads and made our way to a suite that was filled with family and friends ready to celebrate! It was a wonderful day and to top it all off, the Giants won!
