The oldest continuously operating market in the country is an iconic Lancaster landmark and a must stop if you find the time on Friday or Saturday. Saturday morning market walks have become a tradition for Cody, Emily and Archie. Among the nearly 60 vendors, Cody's go to is a vanilla crumb long john (ok, maybe two) from Achenbach's, while Emily usually finds her way to the Tea Bar for the flavor of the week. Archie is content to wait outside for the pets and praises of those passing by.
A fun spot with 13 different food vendors and Bar 1888 in the middle so you can pair your meal with a cold beverage. A good spot to grab a little something before the wedding on Saturday or on your way out of town on Sunday. Cody's favorite meal in the city, the chicken stir fry with fried jasmine rice topped with peanut sauce, can be found in the back corner at Mekatos.
Just a few blocks from Emily and Cody's house, LBC is a spot that they frequent and would make for another good lunch option. Always remember that nachos count as an entree and have you really been to Lancaster if you don't try a Shoo-Fly Porter?
If you're staying at the Marriott and looking for a night cap after the wedding, this will be your best option. Located right across the square, they're usually open to midnight and will allow you to avoid the cover charge at Tellus.
