Always & forever

Nasir and Tia met on February 14, 2021 in a service at Kingdom Christian Church. They were officially introduced by Shayla and David Roberts, Shayla being one of Tia's long time friends from childhood and Dave being Nasir's older brother. The couple's interest in each other sparked from that day on as they started to build a friendship. After graduating from college and accepting wise counsel from her uncle, Pastor Gabe, Tia moved to Charlotte from Raleigh in May 2022. Nasir and Tia worked numerous church projects together to see if the spark was actually substantial and worth pursuing --and boy was it there! They soon discovered they were very similar in personality, character and passion for the things of God. Through mentorship, the couple started dating on August 10, 2023 and got engaged on November 15, 2024. Nasir and Tia both knew how important it was to date holy and strived to date in purity with accountability. As they approach their wedding date, they are keeping that same standard and are excited to get married and start a family of their own. More importantly, they are eager to further advance the Kingdom in their godly assignment with this next step of marriage.
