Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Nashville is an exciting place, and we recognize our guests may want to extend their stay and see the city! With this in mind, you are welcome to stay wherever you wish. We have reserved a block of 15 rooms at a hotel near the airport, a few miles from our venue. Please see the Travel page for more information about booking inside the block. The deadline for room block reservations is 3/27/24. There is also a link on the Travel page to help you explore other hotels in the area at a discounted rate.

Question

What about my kiddos?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate little ones in our celebration due to venue requirements about alcohol. Our venue is a local YMCA camp, and they have a zero tolerance policy for alcohol and the underage on the premises at the same time. We love our nephews, cousins, and godkids and regret we are unable to include them! However, you will be turned away if you show up with a youngin' in tow - no exceptions. To ensure the best experience for both you and your child, we strongly recommend leaving them at your point of departure with a relative or trusted caregiver. If that is not an option, we suggest using a resource like care.com to find a provider that meets your specific needs.

Question

What does cocktail casual mean?

Answer

We are thrilled you are asking instead of assuming! We know the line between "Connecticut Casual" and "Pennsylvania Business" can be hard to walk. This article provides a simple explanation of the dress code we have in mind for men and women: https://www.seema.com/tips-on-the-best-casual-cocktail-attire-for-men-and-women/ We want you to be comfortable, so please take the weather outside into account, too. Ceremony seating will be placed on grass amphitheater tiers, so mind those stilettos! And ya'll... do I have to say it? Please don't wear white!
