For all of you reading this, you know our love story started almost 20 years ago. Roger was my first young love at 18, but we were at different places in our lives and stayed just friends. I was a constant he always had and someone he knew that would always be there if needed. Taking him to the airport to move to Kansas was one of the saddest and hardest trips I’ve ever made. I cried my eyes out on that drive back, but I knew this was such a great opportunity for him. Fast forward to 2022 and we reconnected and the feeling of “home” when I saw him for the first time in about 13 years never felt more true in that moment. We conquered 2 years of long distance and then I made the move to Kansas in June of 2024. The icing on the cake though is getting to be a part of his kids lives! September 5, 2024 he asked and I said yes and on September 5, 2026, I get to marry the love of my life! 💗
