We're getting married!

We had geophysical science class together, which was our first class ever of high school. I sat behind him and was too shy to talk to him. He spent the second half of the school year trying to get me to talk to him since I would spend hours outside of school texting him. However I was too shy. We ended up having our first date right when school got out at Canton Liberty Fest in June of 2014, and the rest is history.

We were on a cruise celebrating our 10 year anniversary. We got dressed up to go take pictures at the picture areas that were set up throughout the cruise. We happened to go to a picture area that had a bench and we began taking pictures there. Without knowledge of the proposal, the photographer asked him to go stand behind me to take a photo. That was the perfect time for him to show the photographer my ring without my knowledge. He then came around to the front and got down on one knee, however I thought he had fallen at first. Then he said the words “will you marry me?” and my jaw hit the floor. It was the easiest yes ever.
