We're Getting Married!

It all started in October of 2018 when Rogelio began working at Target. I was in management at the time, just finishing my shift as he arrived for his first day. He came up to me, a bit nervous, asking where he needed to go. Little did we know, that simple exchange would be the beginning of something incredible. Over the next few months, we became friends, chatting and hanging out occasionally. What began as a casual friendship soon grew into something much deeper. In June of 2019, after Rogelio made the decision to leave Target, we took the leap and officially started dating. It didn’t take long for us to realize that we were meant to be together. We spent the next year traveling, making memories, and enjoying each other's company. Every day with him felt like a new adventure. In 2020, we took another big step — we bought our first home together. Not long after, we welcomed our first pug, Obee, into our lives, and he quickly became a beloved member of our family. As we settled into our new home and shared countless moments of joy, I began to see just how big Rogelio’s heart really is. He’s one of the most caring, gentle, and selfless people I’ve ever known. His love and compassion never cease to amaze me. Early on in our relationship, I knew I wanted to spend forever with Rogelio. There was no doubt in my mind that we were meant to build a life together. Over the years, we’ve supported each other through thick and thin — in every challenge and triumph. He’s been my rock, just as I’ve strived to be his. Then, on my birthday last year, Rogelio surprised me in the most unforgettable way. We were having a cookout with family when, right in the middle of everyone singing “Happy Birthday,” I turned around to see balloons lifting from a box with the words, "Will you marry me?" on it. As I turned back to him, Rogelio was down on one knee, and I was overwhelmed with joy and love. It was the perfect moment — a beautiful beginning to the next chapter of our journey together. Now, as we approach our wedding day, we are incredibly excited to celebrate with all of you, surrounded by our loved ones as we start this new chapter. We look forward to spending the rest of our lives together, cherishing each other, and continuing to laugh, grow, and build our forever.
