Step into a little Texas history! Watch the famous cattle drive, explore shops, grab some treats, and enjoy the cowboy atmosphere.
Perfect for a relaxing stroll, pretty photos, and peaceful nature views.
Great for dinner, live music, dessert stops, and evening walks under the lights. We celebrated our one-year engagement downtown at Texas de Brazil and enjoyed a nice stroll through Sundance Square.
Perfect for a sunset walk, bike ride, or just enjoying the outdoors.
A must visit! One of the best zoos in the country with animals from all over the world.
Our new go-to spot to celebrate our birthdays! Thanks, Heather, for finding this hidden gem!
Go here for breakfast! Roger swears they have the best Café de Olla in town!
In-N-Out Burger may be good, but while you’re in Texas you have to check out Whataburger, especially for their delicious breakfast that Texans swear by! Roger approves!
Flying Saucer Draught Emporium has 100+ beers to choose from at great prices, perfect for trying something new! We had so much fun exploring a few of them when Alex and Heather (Roger’s brother and sister-in-law) came to visit. It’s a great spot to relax, sample, and make fun memories together! If the weather is nice, they have great outdoor seating too!
One of our go-to date night spots for some craft brews and homemade root beer. They also let you bring food or order food to eat and enjoy the chill atmosphere. We like to grab some burgers from the Bearded Lady or any food trucks close by!
If you’re looking to kick up your heels while you’re in town, head over to Billy Bob’s Texas in the Stockyards. It’s the World’s Largest Honky Tonk and the best place for a cold beer and a little two-stepping!
