FAQs

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

While the event is in Snohomish, WA about 30-40 mins from Seattle (see "schedule" page) we recommend staying in Seattle for the weekend, as there are limited lodging options and things to do in Snohomish. We will also provide shuttles from downtown Seattle to and from the venue--come back here soon for further details on shuttles. Please see our recommendations as far as where to stay in Seattle, including hotel discounts and wedding blocks we have secured on the travel page here on our website

Question

What hotels do you recommend?

Answer

Wedding blocks and discounted rates for several Seattle hotels are currently under the "Travel Page". These are in close proximity to where the shuttle will depart from downtown Seattle to our wedding venue. We also recommend neighborhoods to stay in for rentals and Airbnb below that are also close to downtown/ the general shuttle departure location that will take you to and from our wedding venue.

Question

What neighborhoods would you recommend staying in? (e.g. for airbnb)

Answer

If you’re interested in booking an airbnb, below are some suggested neighborhoods to stay in that are within 20 mins driving distance of downtown from where shuttles will depart: Busier, closer to city attractions * Queen Anne (proximity to Space Needle, Lake Union, Moderate walk to Pike Place Market) * Capitol Hill * Fremont Residential — Closer to Lake Washington, quieter neighborhoods * Madrona * Seward Park * Columbia City *Exact departure location for shuttles from downtown Seattle to our wedding venue is still TBD (check back here soon for updates), but if you need a reference point to estimate driving distance from a particular airbnb or neighborhood to the shuttle departure location, you can use the Fairmont Olympic Hotel (411 University St, Seattle, WA 98101)

Question

How do we get to the venue?

Answer

We will have 2 shuttles depart from and return to a central downtown location (exact location TBD: Please check back here and on the "travel" page for updates). There will also be a limited number of cars allowed to be valeted at the wedding venue. We will inquire who would like to drive on the invitations which will be sent by mail in the next few weeks

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want you to feel your best in what you choose to wear, but we suggest semi-formal - cocktail attire as a frame of reference! **For women, since this venue is outside, I highly recommend you do not wear stiletto heels as it will be difficult to move around the property!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love your children, we are limiting children invited to just those of Nick and Jordan’s family to stay within guest count constraints. Please check the guest count on your RSVP for specifics once you’ve received your invitation by mail
