Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outside on a private lawn overlooking the lake. Keep this in mind when deciding on shoes! Cocktail hour and the reception will be held in the barn. There will be golf carts to transport guests to and from the barn.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal and cocktail attire, black tie optional. Think suits, dress pants/shirts, cocktail dresses, pantsuits, gowns, etc. Please no jeans or casual attire (but feel free to bring a change of shoes to dance in!).

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony will start at 4. Please find your seats by 3:45.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to our venue’s limited capacity, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate for everyone to bring a plus one. These will be indicated on your invitation as "and guest."

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Due to the venue’s limited capacity, the only children in attendance will be the flower girls and ring bearer. Enjoy a parent’s-night-out on us!

What’s the Welcome Party?

Answer

The Welcome Party is a more casual get-together to mingle and kick off the weekend! Weddings can be hectic, so the welcome party offers another opportunity to pop in and say hi, especially if you’re traveling in for the wedding. Totally optional, but we hope to see you there!

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar. Please take travel back to your lodging into consideration since there are no hotels directly located in Ripley. We want everyone to stay safe! The venue is a smoke-free facility. We ask that you respect the venue and refrain from smoking on the grounds. Thank you!

What if I can't make it?

Answer

We will miss you! If you can't attend, please RSVP as "Unable to Attend" or text Nick/Julia, as we will need to verify a headcount as the date approaches.
