Kimberly “Kim” — Bride Kimberly, better known as Kim, is the bride and the heart of this wedding day. She is caring, creative, and always finding a new project, craft, or random idea to make life more fun. She loves hard, laughs often, and somehow puts up with Jason every day, which honestly deserves its own award. Jason is lucky to be marrying his best friend.
Jason Anaya
Groom
Jason is the groom, Kim’s soon-to-be husband, and at 6’5”, pretty easy to spot in a crowd. He is a proud nerd who loves Magic: The Gathering, cars, video games, and the Green Bay Packers a probably unhealthy amount. He also claims victory in every game he plays, especially when he’s “dominating” Kim in Mario Kart or Mario Party. But as much as Jason loves winning, his favorite part of life is getting to share it with Kim, his Player 2 in life and on the game. Jason is proud to be marrying his best friend and the person he loves more than anything.
Krystal Bocaegra
Maid of Honor
Krystal is Kim’s maid of honor and one of her closest, longest friendships. Kim and Krystal met in 9th grade, and what started as a school friendship has lasted over a decade, through different states, major life changes, and more distance than most friendships could handle. From Massachusetts to Hawaii to New Mexico, they’ve always found a way to stay connected and be there for each other when it mattered most. Kim is so grateful to have Krystal standing beside her on the day she marries her best friend.
Ian Despain
Best Man
Ian is Jason’s best man and one of the rare people who can match his humor, weirdness, and energy without missing a beat. Jason and Ian first met at work when they were trapped in a room for seven hours watching terrible Disney movies, which naturally turned into them testing the waters with their humor. By the end of the day, they had annoyed the third guy in the room and realized they had found a new friend. From music to games to the crazier parts of life, they’ve talked about just about everything, and Jason is grateful to have Ian standing beside him on one of the biggest days of his life.
Molly Rodwell
Bridesmaid
Molly is Kim’s younger sister and one of the people who has been part of her life since the very beginning. Being four years younger means she’s had a front-row seat to every stage of Kim’s life, from childhood memories to little fashion shows, terrible karaoke, and lovingly bullying each other the way only sisters can. No matter what life brings, Molly will always hold a special place in Kim’s heart, and Kim is so grateful to have her standing beside her on the wedding day.
Jonathan Mullins
Groomsman
Jonathan is one of Jason and Kim’s close friends, making him one of the few people brave enough to deal with both of them. Jason met Jonathan at work, where they bonded over the most powerful force known to coworkers: hating the job together. Since then, Jason has proudly molded Jonathan into a football-loving, gaming PC nerd, which may or may not have been for the better. Somehow, complaining about work turned into a real friendship full of laughs, chaos, and good memories, and Jason and Kim are grateful to have Jonathan standing with them on their wedding day.
