FAQs

Question

Will the Austin reception include a ceremony?

Answer

No. The Austin event is a reception-only celebration. Our vows and ceremony will take place privately in Italy.

Question

What is the difference between the Italy celebration and the Austin reception?

Answer

Our Italy celebration is an intimate, symbolic wedding ceremony where we will exchange personal vows in a faith-centered setting. It will be a small gathering focused on meaning, intention, and the start of our marriage. Our Austin celebration is a larger reception where we’ll celebrate with extended family and friends. It will be a joyful evening centered on togetherness, food, and celebration. Both celebrations are deeply important to us and reflect different parts of our story — one intimate and ceremonial, the other communal and celebratory.

Question

Why are you doing a symbolic ceremony in Italy?

Answer

Italy holds a very special place in our hearts, and we wanted an intimate setting to exchange personal vows and celebrate our faith in a meaningful, intentional way.

Question

Will there be gifts?

Answer

Your presence truly means the most to us. If you’d like to give a gift, please see our registry for options.

Question

What should I wear to the Austin reception?

Answer

The dress code is Texas Chic — western-inspired, stylish, and elevated. Think polished denim, boots, midi dresses, tailored jackets, and statement accessories. Boots are welcome, hats are optional. Please keep it dressy and festive rather than casual.

Question

Answer
