We're getting married!

We’ve known each other since high school but we didn’t communicate directly, Will was closer friends with my brother, but we knew about each other. As the years past we lost touch but eventually we got in contact with each other through Facebook. We went on our first date the summer of 2014 on July but it wasn’t until some time afterwards that we started to officially be a couple. Safe to say we both made the right choice <3.

Will proposed to me on Christmas Eve in front of my family. After we had dinner and exchanged our secret Santa’s gifts; as everyone was checking out what they received, will stood up and asked for everyone’s attention. I didn’t know what was going on but as Will started to speak everything slowly started hitting me; and then he asked me to stand up and thats when reality hit. My best friend was finally going to become my forever lover, the moment I’ve always waited for. As I saw him go down to one knee, I couldn’t help but smile in shock, nervousness taking over my body for a split second and before I knew it, I heard those words, the ones every woman hopes to hear one day “Will you marry me” and before I can think, I said YES! As my family gathered around and congratulated us, I couldn’t help but thank God for making this moment as memorable as it was.
