One of our favorite things about the location of The Ace Hotel is its proximity to Restaurant Row! Explore the mile+ long stretch of West Randolph Street and the many famed restaurants along the way. Point A - Proxi (565 W Randolph St) Point B - Kaiser Tiger (1415 W Randolph St) - fun fact, we almost had our wedding here before deciding on The Ace Hotel!
An impressive 18-mile-long stretch, Chicago's Lakefront Trail is a paved path that extends from Ardmore Street (5800 N. Sheridan Road) on the North Side to 71st Street (7100 S. South Shore Drive) on the South Side. You can find Chris here most weekends during the summer, either running or riding his bike. While you can access the trail from many points, we recommend wandering through Grant Park (which includes The Bean, Maggie Daley Park, Jay Pritzker Pavilion, Buckingham Fountain, and more) and hopping on at the Monroe St entrance near the Chicago Yacht Club.
Not necessarily another attraction, but listed here for location reference to other activities on the map. Don't feel like venturing too far out of the hotel? Check out City Mouse and Stumptown Coffee on the first level of the hotel, as well as the funky gift shop near the front desk.
