We met in college. It would be nice to say it was love at first sight, but it unfortunately we did not hit it off right away. Rodolphe is persistent, or at the very least, persistent. After a year of friendship we went on our first date. As two broke college students, we made the most of our time and what little money we had. No fancy dinners, just a relaxing evening at Red Lobster. That night was nothing short of magical.
Our first date was a private dinner for two at Red Lobster.
As we continue to live our happy lives and pursuing our career goals; Rodolphe decided that I was the “One”. He found the perfect ring and waited until the perfect day, because he wanted it to be different. A few days after valentine, he picked me up from the Airport; I was starting to get worried when I saw him, he looked very nervous, as if someone was following him around. He got down on one knee, took out the ring and asked the question. I was so happy, I forgot the words he truly wanted to hear, and I just stood there staring at him, scrambling to find the right words to say. I snapped back to reality, saying just the right words “yes, Rodolphe I will. I love you”. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
