Where are we staying?

Blue Lagoon Beach House & Cascata Villa, located on Cut Beach in Little Exuma, about 35 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Georgetown.

When are payments due for villa stays?

Answer

If you’ve secured a room, you should’ve received your personalized payment plan. Please stick to those deadlines to help us keep everything locked in. If you need help or have questions about payments, reach out to us directly.

Can I come to the ceremony if I’m not staying in the villa?

Answer

We love the support, but to keep this intimate, our wedding is a private ceremony for villa guests only. The villas are private property, so only those booked in our group accommodations can attend the ceremony and private events.

What’s included with my stay?

Aside from waking up steps from a private beach and sandbar paradise… here’s what’s included for villa guests: ✔ Private beachfront villa with AC and Wi-Fi (Starlink high-speed internet) ✔ Full kitchen, outdoor grill, dining spaces, and lounge areas ✔ Use of kayaks to explore the beach and nearby islands ✔ Daily continental breakfast provided for all guests ✔ Beach towels, linens, and essentials provided ✔ Firestick streaming with unlimited movies and live TV ✔ Bluetooth speakers for your music ✔ Drinking water throughout the house (filtered RO system) Note: If you see any maintenance issues like a leaky faucet, our villa manager Judy is on call to help.

Is any food included with the stay?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be providing continental breakfast every morning for everyone staying in the villas, think coffee, fruit, pastries, juices, and light breakfast bites to start the day. Outside of that, each villa has a full kitchen and outdoor grill, plus there are great restaurants nearby if you want to explore. If you’d like to have groceries stocked before you arrive or hire a private chef for lunch or dinner, we can help arrange that! Just let us know in advance so we can coordinate with our villa team.

Do I need a rental car?

Answer

Yes! Exuma is best explored with a rental. Judy, our amazing house manager, can help arrange a car waiting for you at the airport. Driving is on the left side, island-style (watch for potholes).

What’s the grocery situation?

Groceries are available in Georgetown:     •    Exuma Markets (largest)     •    Shop-Rite     •    Smitty’s (with pharmacy)     •    Prime Island Meats (best for meats)

Can I drink the water?

Yes, the villa uses RO-filtered water, safe and clean for drinking.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Answer

Absolutely! The villa has Starlink internet, fast and reliable.

What about entertainment?

Answer

The villa includes a Firestick with unlimited movies and live TV via Apollo TV. There are also Bluetooth speakers throughout the home.

Can I bring alcohol?

Answer

Yes, you can bring up to 2 bottles per adult, but local liquor stores have plenty of options at fair prices.

Any tips for beach days?

Answer

Keep bug spray handy for sand flies at dawn/dusk. Baby oil is a local trick for keeping them away. The breezy beachside helps, but when it’s calm, they might make an appearance.

Coffee in the rocking chairs, sunrise over the water, it’s magical.
