Things To Do + Restaurant Recos

We've highlighted a few of our favorite Minneapolis restaurants below. Some of them require reservations, so we recommend booking them
Porzana

Porzana

200 N 1st St, Minneapolis, MN 55401
, (612) 489-6174

One of our favorite date night spots! GREAT steaks, pasta, drinks, etc. There's a speakeasy bar below it called Flora Room to grab drinks before or after. Porzana is also a great place to grab brunch. Get Natalie's favorite dish in allllll of the Twin Cities...the Pa amb Tomaquet (ask for no anchovies if you don't like them!).

Billy Sushi ビリー寿司

Billy Sushi ビリー寿司

116 North 1st Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55401

The sushi is so good and the apps are even better imo! Grab some dinner and then head downstairs to their speakeasy, Billy After Dark, for a cocktail or two!

Bar La Grassa

Bar La Grassa

800 North Washington Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55401

Very good italian food...you truly can't go wrong at BLG! We love splitting the crispy insalata and the red wine spaghetti...all of their bruschettas are v good too! You can try to walk-in but we recommend making a reservation ahead of time.

Runyon's

Runyon's

107 North Washington Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55401

Our favorite place to grab wings! The only flavor they have is buffalo so if that's not your thing, ignore this...but if they are your thing...order em' "extra crispy"

Gai Noi

Gai Noi

1610 Harmon Place, Minneapolis, MN 55403

Was named in the New York Times' 2023 list of 50 best restaurants in the United States. Great rooftop, SUPER good food, walk-ins only.

Diane's Place

Diane's Place

117 14th Avenue Northeast, Minneapolis, MN 55413

Come here for dinner or brunch (need a reservation tho!). We love their breakfast, coffee and baked goods the most...New York Times rated it the 22nd best bakeries in the country and the head chef, Diane Moua, has earned 5 James Beard semifinalist nominations!

The North Loop

The North Loop

There's lots to do in the North Loop. Check out the link we've provided to see recommendations for shopping, more restaurants, etc. in the North Loop.
